What is a Sacred Future?

To observe and create a future that generates life is to evolve in the way that we engage in our relationships with people and the planet. It is to see humans as a part of nature and to take our appropriate place in and among it. We welcome natural restraints to help us adapt our innovations to tend to the future.

We want to build towards a transformed expression of economics, rich in abundance, belonging, and generosity. Planetary boundaries are set. Not to challenge us to extend beyond, but rather to hold us in preservation for us to find a rhythm of being that replenishes and restores.

This is the work of regeneration.

A sacred future is one in which companies and leaders evolve to serve as elders in the economy, helping us align to the original intent of economic exchange - gift and appreciation. But real systems change or evolution towards stewardship is hard.

How can our existing enterprises and new ones make this shift?

It's a maturation process rather than a destination, an awakening to know where you are on the journey, to say yes to the call and to adapt and reform where needed.

At Sacred Futures, our sole purpose is to help you anchor your enterprise purpose in the principles of renewal and reciprocity to affect a regenerative economy where our systems can begin to thrive.

We connect ancient wisdom and nature's principles in every facet of our work to help us remember that businesses are living organisms, a part of a greater ecosystem in relationship with their internal and external environments.

Our locus begins by acknowledging that . . .

Everything exists in relationship.

Everything is alive.

Renewal begins on the edges.

We define edges as intersection points that hold intense potential in the lifecycle of business and people. These edges are moments of inception of a new idea, inflection in the direction or evolution of the enterprise, and also in pass, where moments of conflict invite death and life to dance together.

Our mission is to help you navigate the edges of evolution with creativity, humility, and emerge with development and growth that respects the diversity and boundaries of our living systems.

We use design principles to build the structures necessary to intentionally usher and guide the transition in a way of being that reflects the ecological principles of the natural world that we are a part of, the stewarding of resources and relationships that make up our sustenance.

This is a moment during which we can enter the community of creation in a different way, in a humble and just way shifting from scarcity to abundance, from greed to generosity, from transactional to communal. Our role as an advisor and a reimagine is to help leaders, governments, enterprises explore the reflective questions, define the purpose, and develop the practical infrastructure that yields renewal and reciprocity in the operations itself.

We mobilize investors and founders who rethink their mold for product development, company governance, ownership structures and culture formation.

When you engage with us, you will find that our process creates a container for you to wrestle safely with these foundational questions in the formation of your enterprise.

If you are inspired, challenge, and ready to head on this journey, then let's get started.
